Joel was sworn in as a Deputy Marshal on August 30, 1999, and graduated from the North Delta Regional Training Academy on March 30, 2000. For the past 27 years, he has served with dedication, professionalism, and integrity. In 2012, he was appointed Chief Deputy, a position he has faithfully served in for the past 14 years with strong leadership and commitment.

In addition to his decades of law enforcement experience, Joel has also served as Senior Pastor of Life Church in West Monroe since 1996, giving him more than 30 years of pastoral leadership and ministry experience. Those who know Joel understand his heart for people, his compassion, his honesty, and his
unwavering commitment to serving others.
